Job summary

Corpay is seeking a Mobile Engineer to design, develop, test, and support mobile applications for iOS and Android, with a focus on React Native. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, backend developers, and QA to deliver high-quality features in an agile environment.

You will work under the Engineering Manager in the Corpay Complete division, contributing to user-facing experiences in areas like expenses, approvals, receipts, and account management.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on React Native development experience.
• Strong experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Experience building and shipping production mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Familiarity with mobile development patterns (navigation, state management, async data, forms).
• Experience debugging across devices and environments.
• Understanding of mobile app lifecycle and performance considerations.
• BA/BS in CS, SE, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining mobile application features using React Native.
• Building user experiences across iOS and Android for workflows (expenses, approvals, receipts, cards, accounts).
• Integrating mobile apps with backend APIs and services.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participating in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint planning.
• Troubleshooting defects and performance issues; supporting releases.
