Job summary

Fanfix is seeking a Mobile Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable mobile apps using React Native and Expo. You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver fast, reliable experiences on iOS and Android.

You will work with TypeScript, NativeWind, and modern mobile practices to improve code quality, performance, and maintainability, taking ownership of features in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in cross-platform mobile development with React Native.

• Strong TypeScript skills and maintainable code mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain mobile app features with reliable performance.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to translate requirements into functional experiences.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests for stability and quality.
• Identify and address performance issues to improve startup time and responsiveness.
• Take ownership of features from development through release and maintenance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering discussions.
• Stay current with React Native and Expo developments and share improvements.
• Compensation: Base salary ($150K - $160K) + Annual Bonus + Equity.
