Job summary

Evlo AI is seeking a Mobile Engineer to design, build, and operate native iOS and Android experiences used by customers daily. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and data teams to translate complex workflows into fast, reliable mobile products.

You will own architecture decisions, implement robust offline-first solutions, optimize performance, and manage release processes across the full mobile lifecycle, using Swift and Kotlin with a focus on high-quality,

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years shipping production mobile apps.
• Proficiency in Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android) with strong platform knowledge.
• Experience consuming REST/GraphQL services, handling authentication and offline storage, and recovering from network failures.
• Hands-on mobile testing, debugging, profiling, and observability tools (XCTest, XCUITest, Espresso, etc.).
• Proficiency with Git, code review workflows, and CI/CD tooling (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production mobile features for iOS and Android.
• Design architecture, networking layers, local data stores, and offline-first workflows.
• Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, authentication, push notifications, analytics, and SDKs.
• Improve performance via startup-time optimization, memory profiling, and efficient background work.
• Create automated tests (unit, integration, UI) with relevant frameworks; ensure coverage for key user journeys.
• Own mobile release processes through CI/CD, phased rollouts, crash monitoring, and app submission workflows.
• Participate in architecture and code reviews; document technical decisions and raise quality standards.
