Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer in Milwaukee to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds. The role involves overseeing mechanical, plumbing, life-safety, and control systems, and ensuring conformity with design specs and environmental conditions.

The position requires 4–5 years of experience, Universal CFC certification, a valid driver's license, and willingness to lead maintenance activities while coaching teammates.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver's license required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• Physical requirements: stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to building systems to meet applicable standards.
• Review work orders, estimate time/materials, and manage inventory of supplies/tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and supervise repairs as needed.
• Review inspections of fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing for proper operation.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles as needed.
• Share knowledge within the team and coach others.
• Lead by example and support CBRE values.
• Impact diverse customer and project activities within teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and explain complex information.
