Potelco, Inc. in the Pacific Northwest seeks a Mobile Trainer to deliver hands-on instruction across multiple locations with 60–80% travel. You will design, deliver, and evaluate training for electrical and gas utility operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety while developing the workforce with practical, real-world applications.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, adult learning principles, and cross‑functional collaboration with the Director of Training and Training Coordinator.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of Journeyman Lineman experience.
• Union experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in-person and virtual.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout WA, OR, ID, and MT.
• Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s).

Responsibilities

• Design and update training materials for electrical and gas utility operations.
• Deliver classroom, virtual, and field-based training sessions.
• Ensure safety compliance and regulatory alignment; maintain records.
• Assess training effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Collaborate across teams with senior training leadership.
