Job summary

AdvaCare Systems in Davenport, IA is seeking a Service Technician to deliver, install, and troubleshoot Durable Medical Equipment. The role requires driving a 16’ box truck and providing clear patient instruction on equipment use.

Overtime and rotating On-Call shifts (including weekends/evenings) are required. Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 paid at six and twelve months, with company-provided benefits and bi-weekly paydays.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license for at least 5 years.
• 1+ years of Delivery and/or Healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to lift an average of 50 pounds and perform strenuous work.
• DOT Medical Examiner’s Card required.
• All candidates must possess a clean driving record and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install Medical Equipment in a safe and timely manner.
• Safe operation of a company-owned 16’ Box Truck.
• Instructing patients, family members, and caregivers on equipment functions while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Minor repair and equipment troubleshooting while in the field.
• Thorough and accurate completion of all orders on a proprietary web-based inventory management system.
