Job summary
Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a Mobile Director of Nursing for skilled nursing facilities. This role provides frontline leadership to the nursing department across assigned facilities, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
As a mobile DON, you will travel to facilities, supervise staff, develop staffing plans, and implement company policies to uphold patient dignity and safety. Office hours are full-time with regional leadership support.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active RN license in practiced states.
- Must have at least two years of recent Director of Nursing experience with a history of quality and survey outcomes.
- Must understand federal, state rules and regulations, and survey practices in your area.
- Must be able to travel, including overnight stays.
Responsibilities
- Provide complete supervision and management for the nursing department at assigned facilities.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment; carry out administrative authority and accountability for duties.
- Implement operational core responsibilities and policies established by the company and facility.
