American Medical Administrators LTC is seeking a Mobile Director of Nursing (DON) to lead interim nursing operations across multiple facilities. The role ensures regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and clinical oversight during transitions, crises, or leadership vacancies.

The DON will travel up to 75% between facilities, mentor nursing leadership, and partner with regional executives to maintain continuity of care and high standards of resident health.

Qualificações

• RN license required; multi-state licensure preferred.
• 5+ years of nursing leadership in long‑term care, including DON experience.
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey processes, and infection control protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Provide interim leadership as acting DON at assigned facilities.
• Assess and stabilize nursing operations during transitions and staffing shortages.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations and standards of care.
• Assist with preparation for state surveys and audits.
• Mentor and train facility leadership and staff on clinical best practices and policies.
• Travel frequently to facilities within region or footprint.
