Position: Mobile Director of Nursing (DON)

Position Summary:

The Mobile Director of Nursing is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the daily operations of the Nursing Department across their region. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to maintain the highest quality of care.

Essential Duties:

1. Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct daily nursing functions in accordance with applicable regulations.
2. Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
3. Complete administrative tasks such as medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, and charting.
4. Ensure adequate staffing of licensed practical and/or registered nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, medications, and safety equipment per shift to maintain quality care.
