Schedule: Mon - Fri: Day Shift

When you work with Clarke, you are working with an industry leader! Our team is looking for a Diesel Technician - Truck Mechanic to uphold our commitment to safety and customer service by operating a service truck and performing onsite maintenance & repairs.

Responsibilities

• Work approximately 70% in the field and 30% in the shop
• Service and repair engines, drive trains, steering, electrical systems, suspension, and brakes
• Conduct troubleshooting and inspections
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Be available for after-hours on-call rotation
• Utilize computer skills and communicate effectively
• Work independently and perform onsite maintenance & repairs at customer locations
• Operate a mobile service truck daily, taking it home during the week and on on-call weeks

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years relevant truck repair experience
• Background in Preventative Maintenance Service
• Preferred: Certificate or Degree from a Diesel Program

Certifications and Licenses

• Engine or Transmission Certifications are a plus
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus
• ASE Certifications are a plus
• Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card

Physical and Safety Requirements

• Ability to move frequently, stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 50lbs regularly, and up to 100lbs with assistance
• Read and write reports
• Enforce health and safety regulations and policies
