Overview

Join Clarke, an industry leader, as a Diesel Technician - Truck Mechanic. Maintain our commitment to safety and excellent customer service by operating a service truck and performing onsite maintenance and repairs. This role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Work approximately 70% in the field and 30% in the shop
• Service and repair engines, drive trains, steering, electrical systems, suspension, and brakes
• Conduct troubleshooting and inspections
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Be available for after-hours on-call rotation
• Utilize computer skills and communicate effectively
• Work independently and perform onsite maintenance at customer locations
• Operate a mobile service truck daily (take home during the week and on on-call weeks)
• Possess a background in preventative maintenance service

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant truck repair experience
• Preventative maintenance service background
• Preferred: Certificate or degree from a diesel program

Certificates and Licenses

• Engine or transmission certifications are a plus
• Valid driver's license with a good record
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus
• ASE certifications are a plus
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card

Physical and Safety Requirements

• Frequent movement, standing, walking, sitting; ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs with assistance
• Follow health and safety policies and procedures
