Job summary

Saia Inc. is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic in Odessa, Texas. In this role, you will perform maintenance and repairs on company tractors and trailers while traveling in a mobile service van. You will ensure that all equipment is safe, compliant, and operational, responding to emergency service requests as needed.

The ideal candidate must be 18+, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have a valid driver’s license. Experience with diesel engines and diagnostic software is preferred. The pay rate ranges from $35.55 to $40.45 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and motor vehicle record that meets company standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on tractors and trailers.
• Travel to terminals and remote locations for diagnostics and repairs.
• Respond to road calls and emergency service requests.
