TravelCenters of America in Texas is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician who travels to customer facilities to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy duty trucks and trailers. You will diagnose wear conditions and provide safe, reliable service.

This role requires a valid driver’s license with clean MVR, ability to pass a DOT exam annually, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. We offer competitive wages, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in repair or parts shop preferred.
• Basic computer skills required for recordkeeping and checklists.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam annually.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Travel to a customer’s facility or distribution center to perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose wear conditions and make recommendations to customers.
• Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations.
• Provide accurate, efficient service to ensure customer satisfaction.
