Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking mechanically skilled technicians to perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer sites. Our mobile team delivers on-site maintenance with DOT and brake certified technicians to keep fleets on the road.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in diesel and trailer repair, good communication, and the ability to use a computer or tablet for work orders. Flexible hours and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience.
• Communication skills are required to interact with customers and team members.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Ability to use a computer/tablet for electronic work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine components, exhaust, after-treatment, lift-gates, tires).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle and trailer components as needed.
• Open and close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Complete DOT forms and related documentation in a timely fashion.
