Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic/Technician to perform on-site preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for light to medium-duty fleets in customers' yards and on the road. You’ll operate a company truck, use diagnostic tools, and work independently with a supportive team.

This field-based role requires good communication with drivers and customers, comfort with mobile apps, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on auto or diesel tech experience.
• Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Bring your own hand tools; company supplies everything else.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on light and medium-duty vehicles in a mobile field environment.
• Handle emergency road service calls with urgency.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
• Road test vehicles to ensure repairs meet top-quality standards.
• Source parts and coordinate with vendors to keep operations moving.
