Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking experienced technicians for on-site maintenance and mobile repairs of trucks and trailers. You will perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs at customer sites or schedules, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 3 years in diesel/trailer repair, strong communication, and solid computer/tablet use for work orders. Valid CDL may be beneficial. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• . 3+ years diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• . Communication skills required.
• . Ability to work extended hours including weekends/holidays.
• . Valid Driver's License required.
• . Able to use computer/tablet for electronic work orders.
• . 2 years federal inspections and brake inspections experience.
• . Must possess proper tools.

Responsibilities

• . Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, A/C, electrical, engines, exhaust, etc).
• . Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• . Repair/replace vehicle/trailer components.
• . Open and close repair orders on company device.
• . Obtain parts and manage inventory on service truck.
• . Complete DOT forms and related documentation.
