Job summary
Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is hiring a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician in Stockton, CA. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a field setting, with a company-provided service truck and strong support from a skilled team.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of hands-on diesel tech experience on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
- DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise to keep fleets safe.
- Strong communication, customer-facing skills and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Perform onsite preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
- Handle emergency road service calls with confidence and urgency.
- Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
- Use diagnostic tools, handheld computers, and precision instruments to identify issues.
- Take ownership of a company-issued service truck and perform inspections.
- Road test vehicles to ensure repairs meet top-quality standards.
