Job summary

National Fleet Management is hiring Mobile Diesel Technicians to service commercial fleets across the Southeast from your own service truck. You’ll diagnose, repair and maintain heavy‑duty trucks at customer locations within a 50–60 mile radius of home, delivering high‑quality, customer‑focused service.

We offer competitive hourly pay and a 90‑day guarantee to help you transition, plus ongoing training and development as our mobile fleet expands.

Qualifications

• Diesel technician experience, mobile experience a plus
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license (CDL a plus)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on heavy‑duty trucks
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Repair engines, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, air, hydraulic, and fuel systems
• Accurately document repairs and completed work
• Maintain parts inventory and organize your service truck
• Deliver professional, customer‑focused service at every job
