Job summary

National Fleet Management in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician to operate a fully equipped service truck and perform on-site repairs for commercial fleets within a 50–60 mile radius. You’ll diagnose heavy-duty diesel equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and document repairs while delivering excellent customer service to fleet customers.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty diesel equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities.
• Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on heavy-duty commercial trucks.
• Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair engines, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, air, hydraulic, and fuel systems.
• Accurately document repairs, parts used, and completed work.
• Maintain inventory and organization of your company-provided service truck.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while building relationships with fleet customers.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
