Job summary

FleetPride in Louisville, KY is seeking a Mobile Service Technician II to perform preventative maintenance, basic and advanced repairs, and component replacements on class 7 and 8 trucks and trailers with limited supervision.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of repair experience, welding ability, Air Brake certification, and a valid driver's license; CDL is preferred but not required. Tools and a safety mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Welding experience is preferred.
• Air Brake Certified.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Provide preventative maintenance and repairs with limited supervision.
• Repair brakes, suspensions, electrical and exhaust systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair fuel systems and driveline components.
• Perform basic welding and fabrications as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and practice safe driving.
