Job summary

Allstate Peterbilt Group is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs in both shop and roadside situations. You will communicate with parts, maintain service vehicle inventory, and road test vehicles as needed.

The role includes mentoring less-experienced technicians, following safety protocols, and participating in ongoing training programs across multiple dealership locations.

Qualifications

• Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repair in shop type atmosphere and on occasion, road side situations.
• Mentor less-skilled technicians as assigned and participate in training programs.
• Follow all service policies and procedures to ensure safety and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repair in shop or roadside settings.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Maintain inventory on service vehicle and ensure stock levels are maintained.
• Road test vehicles as required and document work performed.
• Mentor less-skilled technicians and participate in manufacturer training.
