Job summary

Allstate Peterbilt Group is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers in shop or on the road. You will communicate with the parts department, maintain service vehicle inventory, and participate in manufacturer training programs.

Ideal candidates will be proactive, safety-conscious, and able to mentor less-skilled technicians while delivering excellent customer service. The role offers extensive in-house training and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Communicate with parts and customers effectively.
• Follow safety and regulatory requirements (EPA/OSHA/DOT).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctions and repair in shop or on the road.
• Maintain and stock service vehicle inventory.
• Coordinate with parts to obtain needed components.
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Document work performed on repair orders.
• Participate in manufacturer training programs.
• Mentor less-skilled technicians as assigned.
• Ensure service truck and shop area are clean and organized.
• Report safety issues to management.
• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
