Job summary

Allstate Peterbilt Group in Minnesota is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to diagnose and repair trucks both in shop and at customer sites. The role requires maintaining service-vehicle inventory and coordinating with parts for timely repairs.

You will participate in manufacturer training, mentor junior technicians, and ensure safety standards while delivering reliable service across multiple dealership locations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be able to diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions in both shop and field environments.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing manufacturer training and development programs.
• Ability to coordinate with parts and service teams to complete repairs efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repair in shop type atmosphere and on occasion, road side situations.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory on service vehicle.
• Assure appropriate stock levels are maintained on service vehicle.
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Follow all service policies and procedures to insure safety, profitability and accuracy.
• Mentor less-skilled technicians as assigned.
