Job summary

The Pete Store LLC is seeking a skilled diesel truck technician to repair and maintain diesel engine industrial trucks in Rhode Island. You will perform work per repair orders with precision, diagnose issues, and coordinate with parts and service staff to ensure efficient finish times.

Expect to engage in ongoing manufacturer-sponsored training, stay current with technical bulletins, and contribute to a safe, organized shop environment.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Drivers License required.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain diesel engine industrial trucks according to dealership and factory specifications.
• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose cause of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Keep shop area neat and clean.
