Riverhead Building Supply is seeking a Diesel Mechanic in Rhode Island to diagnose, repair and maintain a range of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. The role supports onsite service, field work and occasional roadside assistance, with a focus on minimizing downtime and keeping equipment road-ready.

You should have 3+ years hands-on experience on semis, trucks, cars and construction equipment, Own tools, and a valid driver’s license (CDL a bonus).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with diesel engines and equipment.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair a range of vehicles and machinery.

Responsabilités

• Engine diagnostics and repair.
• Preventative maintenance.
• Brake and suspension work.
• Transmission diagnosis, removal and rebuild.
• Electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Hydraulic systems: pumps, cylinders, valves, hoses.
• Heavy-duty trucks, trailers and equipment maintenance.
• Fabricate hoses and welding proficiency.
• Onsite diagnostics and repairs and roadside emergency support.
