Job summary

Allstate Peterbilt Group in the Midwest is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform on-site repairs, sometimes in road-side conditions, with training and mentoring to advance your career.

Duties include communicating with the parts department, maintaining inventory on the service vehicle, following safety policies, documenting work, and participating in manufacturer‑sponsored training; the role offers extensive in-house training and clear advancement

Qualifications

• Diagnose malfunction causes and perform repairs in shop or on-site.
• Coordinate with parts department to obtain needed components.
• Maintain and inspect the service vehicle inventory and tools.
• Follow safety policies and comply with EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repair in shop type atmosphere and on occasion, road side situations.
• Attend training and mentoring to advance career path.
• Communicate with service management and customers regarding repairs and timelines.
• Road test vehicles when required and document all work performed.
• Keep the service truck and shop area neat and clean and ensure tools are returned.
