Allstate Peterbilt Group is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks in shop settings and on occasion roadside. The role involves coordinating with parts, maintaining service vehicle inventory, and pursuing ongoing training to advance in the career path.

Qualifications

• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs on site or in shop.
• Maintain accurate inventory on service vehicle and ensure stock levels are adequate.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Document all work performed and testing when required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repair in shop-type atmosphere and on occasion, road side situations.
• Maintain and be accountable for dealership-owned tools and equipment.
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Attend manufacturer training programs and stay updated on technical bulletins.
• Mentor less-skilled technicians as assigned.
