Peterbilt of Atlanta, LLC is seeking a mobile diesel technician to diagnose and repair heavy trucks, perform preventative maintenance, and handle wiring and lighting repairs. The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years of diesel truck service and computer diagnostics experience, and the ability to use power and hand tools safely.

A valid license and DOT medical certification are required, with a professional demeanor and clear written/spoken communication.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of diesel truck service and computer diagnostics experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability.
• Ability to operate power and hand tools safely.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must obtain and maintain DOT Driver Medical certification.
• Professional appearance and strong written and oral communication.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and visually inspect trucks and components.
• Remove parts and attachments for service and warranty repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance, wiring repairs, and lighting repairs.
• Weld, cut, and conduct other repair tasks as needed.
• Operate tools and equipment with safety in mind.
• Work in a physically demanding environment with potential exposure to noise and dust.
