Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is hiring a Mobile Maintenance Diesel Technician in Wichita, KS. You will service heavy-duty vehicles, operate a Ryder mobile service truck, and support on-site customer requirements.

The role offers weekly pay, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401(k) match, tuition reimbursement options, and a safety‑first environment with state-of-the-art diagnostics and tools. Shift is second shift 1:30 pm – 10:30 pm, Monday–Friday, weekends off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or technical certification in vehicle maintenance preferred.
• 1 year PM certification through training/experience or equivalent.
• 1+ year mechanical experience, preferably offsite at customer locations.
• Must have minimum tools to perform Ryder maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Road test vehicles to identify causes of complaints and ensure quality repairs.
• Perform PMs and repairs across major systems as trained ( brakes, electrical, etc.).
• Maintain accurate repair orders in the company system.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and relationship management.
