Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Mobile Maintenance Diesel Technician in Wichita, KS, offering weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

You’ll work a second shift (1:30 pm – 10:30 pm), with Mon–Fri schedules and weekends off, operating a Ryder mobile service truck for on‑site repairs and preventive maintenance on heavy‑duty vehicles. The role includes a $32/hour base pay, certification bonuses, quarterly bonuses, and a full benefits package after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must be a hands‑on mechanic with a focus on preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Strong customer service and account management skills are required.
• Ability to drive Ryder vehicles and pass safety/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to schedule preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Road test vehicles to identify causes of issues and ensure quality repairs.
• Perform PMs and repairs across brakes, electrical, cooling, and other systems as trained.
