Transwest Mobile Truck Repair in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Mobile Diesel & Heavy Equipment Technician with 5+ years of diesel, heavy equipment, or automotive repair experience.

You will diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, keep records, and provide excellent customer service while upholding safety standards. The role offers growth and on-the-job training with a stable brand.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems on heavy-duty, medium, and light duty equipment
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Use diagnostic tools and service manuals to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Build strong relationships with customers, providing clear communication and excellent service
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
• Follow all safety regulations and standards while working in the shop and field
• Collaborate with the team to support efficient shop operations

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years of experience in diesel, heavy equipment, or automotive repair
• Working knowledge of engine, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve mechanical issues
• Ability to supply a set of professional tools suitable for the job
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in indoor/outdoor environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree or trade certification in diesel or heavy equipment technology
• ASE certifications (any level) or EPA certifications
• Experience training or mentoring junior technicians
• Experience across multiple vehicle makes and models
