Job summary

Cox Fleet provides nationwide mobile on-site maintenance for light to heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The Mobile Diesel Technician II conducts DOT inspections, performs preventative maintenance, and handles light mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostics in a field setting.

Qualified candidates will have a HS diploma or GED, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and a valid DOT medical card. Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT background screening required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with related field experience (or equivalent).
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PM on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical systems on diesel trucks.
• Document work on RO using TRAIT app and upload photos.
