Job summary

Kenworth Sales Company is seeking a Mobile Service Technician in Roanoke, VA to travel to customer locations providing maintenance, repair, and diagnostic services for diesel vehicles. The role may work in the company shop when dispatched, with a focus on reliable mobility and customer service.

Salary ranges from $35 to $45 per hour, with responsibilities that include on-site diagnostics, engine and transmission work, and maintaining vehicle readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or the equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with diesel truck and trailer repair, maintenance, and diagnostics.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Must provide own tools.
• Dealership experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily work assignments and schedules from Service Advisors and Service Manager.
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and service on diesel vehicles as instructed.
• Travel to customer locations to provide maintenance and diagnostic services.
• Communicate with customers and management on job and schedule status.
• Maintain organized, clean service truck and complete paperwork daily.
