Qualifications

• Experience as a Diesel Technician, Heavy Truck Technician, or related mechanical field required.
• Fleet or dealership experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with fabrication and wet kit installations preferred.
• ASE certifications and CDL preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic abilities.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• Self-motivated with a professional attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must provide and maintain personal hand tools necessary for the position.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical, electrical, and performance-related issues.
• Complete preventative maintenance services and repairs at customer locations, roadside environments, and company facilities as assigned.
• Respond to dispatched service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain service truck inventory and ensure tools and supplies are ready for each job.
• Identify and recommend additional repairs or maintenance services as needed.
• Document labor hours accurately and meet productivity targets.
• Test drive vehicles or coordinate test drives to verify repairs and ensure quality standards.
