Job summary

ADP is seeking a Mobile Diesel Pump Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel pump systems at client sites nationwide. The role requires frequent travel, CDL training, and hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

You will work independently in varied environments, perform preventive maintenance, document activities, and ensure safety compliance while delivering high-quality service to customers across the United States.

Qualifications

• CDL with a clean driving record is required.
• Proven diesel mechanic/technician experience with pump systems or heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service docs.
• Capable of independent field work with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites across the United States for on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools and parts.
• Inspect diesel pumps, engines, and related components to identify issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations to extend equipment life.
• Document service activities and outcomes; communicate with clients and supervisors.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide technical support.
• Maintain a clean, organized mobile service workspace and equipment.
