Zusammenfassung

The Halter Group is seeking a full-time Mobile Diesel Mechanic to service trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment across KY, TN, GA with travel required. CDL B sponsorship is offered to help meet DOT requirements. A valid license is required; CDL A/B preferred.

Responsibilities include inspections, maintenance, and diagnostics, with emphasis on safety and proper record-keeping; overtime and after-hours work may be needed.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma required; 2–3 years in automotive/diesel services.
• Associates degree or certification in diesel technology preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment screening (substance, background, MVR/DOT).
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required immediately; ability to obtain within 90 days.

Aufgaben

• Inspect, repair, and service diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, cooling, steering, and hydraulics.
• Perform routine maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain service records and use fleet maintenance software.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot to resolve mechanical issues.
• Be available for overtime and after-hours service as needed.
