Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of experience in diesel engine repair.
• Advanced knowledge of diesel engine technology and components.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
• Proficiency with all types of vehicles, equipment, and hand tools.
• Willing to obtain factory certifications.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Class B CDL preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer's site with company vehicle
• Run diagnostic tests on heavy-duty diesel-powered vehicles
• Repairs, maintenance and servicing large straight trucks, and buses
• Analyze diagnostic test results
• Test drive vehicles to gauge performance
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Maintain detailed records of service vehicles
