Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking experienced diesel and trailer technicians to perform on-site repairs and inspections for Class 6-8 trucks and trailers. You will manage maintenance schedules, handle parts, and document work orders at the customer's location.

We value reliable, skilled professionals with strong organizational skills, the ability to work flexible hours, and a valid driver's license. CDL is a plus; welding experience is appreciated and a clean safety record is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Communication skills required.
• Ability to work extended and irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Self-motivated with organization and planning skills.
• Ability to use a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders (labor hours, statuses).
• 2 years of federal and brake inspections experience.
• 2 years of truck/trailer maintenance experience or equivalent education.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must possess proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine components, exhaust, after-treatment, lift-gates, tires).
• Schedule and oversee all maintenance procedures and DOT inspections.
• Repair/Replace vehicle and trailer components.
• Open and close repair orders on company device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage service-truck inventory.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation promptly.
