Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to service Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer sites. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs with a company-provided service truck and top-tier tools.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on diesel tech experience on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• DOT inspections and air brake repair expertise for fleets.
• Strong communication skills with customers and drivers.
• Comfort with mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
• Respond to dispatch requests for service or maintenance.
• Use diagnostic tools and handheld computers to identify issues quickly.
• Take ownership of a company-issued service truck and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
