Job Summary: Responsible for performing licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and diagnostics. Performs advanced diagnostics under supervision, learning new skills and maintaining high performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on various vehicles in the field.
• Conduct minor adjustments and repairs on truck systems including electrical, brakes, cooling, engines, transmissions, and more.
• Diagnose malfunctions using test instruments, road test vehicles, and manage parts inventory.
• Document work thoroughly, communicate effectively with clients and management, and work independently within safety and organizational policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years of related experience, or other combinations of education and experience.
• Own a set of hand tools necessary for the job.
• Obtain ASE T8 certification within 18 months.
• Pass DOT background screening and physical; hold a valid driver's license and meet DOT driver requirements.

Preferred Certifications: ASE T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, T8/609/608.

Skills & Abilities: Strong problem-solving, physical ability to perform labor, effective communication, and good judgment in tool selection and diagnostics.
