Job summary

Honey Bucket, a division of Northwest Cascade, seeks a Mobile Diesel Mechanic based in Tualatin, OR to support our Oregon fleet from Longview, WA to Salem, OR. You’ll handle on-site service calls and coordinate with Shop and leadership for scheduling.

Duties include inspections, routine maintenance, diagnostics with laptops and scanners, repairing drive trains and hydraulics, performing DOT inspections, and maintaining a safe, organized work area. After-hours availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of practical fleet maintenance experience.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
• Own tools and ability to use them effectively.
• Welding certification and fabrication experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills to input maintenance records.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and diagnostics to keep vehicles in proper condition.
• Conduct routine and preventative maintenance.
• Use diagnostic tools to diagnose and repair diesel engines.
• Repair drivetrain components and hydraulic systems.
• Perform DOT inspections on trucks and trailers.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area.
• After-hours availability for service calls when needed.
