Job summary

Clarke Power Services, Inc. seeks an Experienced Mobile Automobile Technician to service light/medium duty diesel vehicles. Top pay is $38/hr and up with a shift differential and a hiring bonus up to $7,500.

The position offers a flexible 4-day work week with 10-hour shifts and a second shift schedule. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience, ASE certifications are a plus, and experience with major engine platforms (Cummins, Power Stroke, Duramax, LS, Triton, Godzilla).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in automotive or diesel service.
• Preferred Diesel or Automotive Program Certificate or degree.
• Experience with Cummins, Power Stroke, Duramax, LS, Triton, and Godzilla engines.
• ASE Certifications are a big plus.
• State Inspector License is a big plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license with clean record and ability to obtain CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with light and medium duty chassis, suspension, HVAC, engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
• Excellent diagnostic skills.
• Diagnose cause of non-conformance and corrective action.
• Diagnose and repair basic equipment wiring.
• Must be able to use computer diagnostics.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
