The Mobile Service Technician is responsible for maintaining the fleet for clients and handling service calls at client locations. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, performing cleaning, maintenance, visual inspections, parts removal, installation with manuals, report writing, disassembly, assembly, parts reuse evaluation, and reconditioning.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain all equipment according to company standards.
• Perform basic truck maintenance, including fueling, oil checks, cleaning, and inspections.
• Manage inventory control on the service truck.
• Report to the Service Manager and perform assigned duties.
• Be available for after-hours service calls and maintain an open work schedule.
• Maintain and inventory tools required for diesel engine truck maintenance.
• Read job orders, diagnose vehicle malfunctions, and plan work procedures.
• Use diagnostic equipment and technical information to perform repairs.
• Replace parts such as injectors, pistons, liners, camshafts, cylinder heads, bearings, oil pans, clutches, fan hubs, differentials, brakes, batteries, transmissions, and other components.
• Complete diagnostic and documentation functions on the company system.
• Check safety devices and make adjustments as needed.
• Lubricate parts and verify repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance as requested.
• Document work performed accurately and timely.
• Respond to customer inquiries and foster positive relations.
• Advise customers on future repairs or services.
• Participate in training and apply learned skills.
