Headquartered in Seguin, 1836 Mobile delivers on-site repairs for heavy-duty trucks, trailers, RVs, and specialty diesel equipment across Texas and Arizona. We proudly employ U.S. military veterans and extend a standing discount to veteran customers. Our next expansion is the Houston metro, and we need an elite mobile technician to lead the charge.

What You’ll Do

• Perform mobile diagnostics and repairs on engines, drivetrains, electrical, HVAC, hydraulics, and trailer systems.
• Handle emergency road calls, scheduled PMs, and DOT inspections.
• Execute field welding & fabrication for frames, suspensions, and custom mods.
• Use mobile software for estimates, DVIs, parts sourcing, and real-time customer updates.
• Maintain rigorous safety and regulatory compliance at every site.
• Represent 1836 Mobile with clear, professional communication.

Must-Have Qualifications

• ASE Diesel Certification (T-Series) – REQUIRED
• EPA 609 or ASE Mobile A/C endorsement – strongly
• 3+ years heavy-duty diesel & trailer experience (field experience ideal)
• Clean driving record and DOT-physical-ready
• Proficiency with OEM diagnostic software
• Reliable tool set and secure storage on your truck
• Works well in a team environment and excels independently in the field

Compensation Snapshot

$45 – $60/hr (DOE)

Your fully equipped service truck

Bonuses, benefits, optional truck-payment assistance, eligibility for company fuel card after 30–60 days

Final rate and any truck-payment subsidy are determined during interview and skills assessment.
