Put your career into gear with Interstate Fleet Services, a leader in the fleet repair industry, where we have an immediate position for a Mobile Diesel Mechanic in our Salt Lake City, UT operation.

This role involves working from home, being on call (no office to report to), and driving to customer breakdown or work-site locations upon dispatch to perform emergency repairs on commercial trucks, trailers, etc.

Repairs include, but are not limited to, no starts, brakes, compressed air systems, tires, electrical repairs, trailer repairs, hydraulic line replacements, etc.

You will also be responsible for communicating with dispatchers and customers throughout each job.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must reside in or near Salt Lake City, UT.
• Must have a valid driver's license (NO CDL required).
• All own basic hand tools up to 1 inch drive.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a Diesel Mechanic/Service Tech, in a shop or mobile road service. Recent diesel school graduates are welcome to apply.
• Willing to work on-call irregular hours and roadside in all weather conditions.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and all subsequent random testing.
• Maintain professionalism when dealing with customers.
