Job Title: Mobile Diesel Mechanic

Join Interstate Fleet Services as a Mobile Diesel Mechanic in the Nashville, TN area. This role involves performing emergency repairs on commercial trucks and trailers at customer sites, working from home on an on-call basis.

Responsibilities include:

• Responding to breakdowns and performing repairs such as no starts, brakes, compressed air systems, tires, electrical issues, hydraulic lines, and trailer repairs.
• Communicating effectively with dispatchers and customers during each job.

Requirements:

• Residency in or near Nashville, TN.
• Valid driver’s license (NO CDL required).
• Own basic hand tools (up to 1 inch drive).
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a Diesel Mechanic/Service Tech, in a shop or mobile road service. Recent diesel school graduates are welcome.
• Willingness to work on-call irregular hours in all weather conditions.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and random testing thereafter.
• Professionalism in customer interactions.
