Job summary

Abbott is seeking a highly skilled Mobile DevOps Engineer to bridge development and operations for mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Android and iOS deployment, CI/CD automation, mobile device management, and Microsoft mobile technologies, along with strong coding fundamentals and DevOps best practices.

You will design and maintain pipelines using Jenkins, Bitrise, Fastlane or GitHub Actions, manage deployments with MDM tools, and collaborate across engineering,

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in DevOps or Mobile DevOps roles.
• Strong experience with Android and iOS deployment workflows.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Fastlane).
• Hands-on experience with AirWatch, MTX, or similar MDM platforms.
• Solid coding and scripting skills (Python, Bash, Groovy).
• Proficiency in C# and understanding of unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit).
• Experience with .NET, MAUI, and other Microsoft mobile solutions.
• Familiarity with Git version control and branching strategies.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for mobile backend integration.
• Understanding of security best practices for mobile deployments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Android and iOS apps.
• Manage mobile deployments via MDM solutions (AirWatch, MTX) and other tools.
• Automate build, test, and release processes for mobile apps.
• Implement infrastructure as code and config management for mobile environments.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and security teams to ensure smooth releases.
• Monitor and optimize build systems, deployment pipelines, and app performance.
• Ensure security and privacy standards during deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across build, deployment, and runtime environments.
