Abbott is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimize scalable DevOps solutions for cloud-based applications. Candidates should have hands-on experience with CI/CD, Azure, and source control, plus strong scripting and security practices.

The role focuses on building/maintaining pipelines, automating deployments to multiple environments, and ensuring reliability and high availability in Azure. Pleasanton, CA-based on-site position with growth opportunities.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years in DevOps or SRE roles.
• 3+ years building iOS and Android apps.
• Strong hands-on with GitHub, Azure Repos, CI/CD tools, and build/release automation.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Drive best practices for DevOps, including CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
• Manage and optimize source code repositories and branching using GitHub and Azure Repos.
• Build and maintain release automation workflows using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Provision, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure for scalability, security, and availability.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations to streamline delivery pipelines and improve deployment frequency.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for reliability and efficiency.
• Implement IaC using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Ensure security with DevSecOps practices across pipelines.
• Design and manage Azure infrastructure including CDN, Key Vault, managed identities, and Azure AD B2C for mobile apps across Dev/QA/Prod.
• Develop/maintain pipelines for mobile app builds (iOS/Android) with TestFlight and Google Play deployments.
• Configure backend services including APIM policies, JWT validation, and Service Bus authentication for mobile apps.
• Set up Firebase projects, APNs keys, and Firebase credentials in Key Vault for iOS/Android push notifications.
• Coordinate security controls and releases, ensuring pre-deployment checklists and environment registrations are validated.
