Job summary

Air Apps is hiring a DevOps Engineer - Mobile to streamline CI/CD for iOS and Android apps. You will shape infrastructure, automate builds, tests, and deployments, and ensure fast, reliable release cycles across multiple environments.

You will work with cloud platforms, container tech like Docker/Kubernetes, and security best practices while collaborating with cross-functional mobile teams to improve performance and scalability.

Qualifications

• Around 3+ years of experience in DevOps, with emphasis on mobile app pipelines and automation.
• Experience with mobile CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Bitrise, fastlane, CircleCI, or GitLab CI.
• Experience building and distributing iOS and Android apps in scalable environments.
• Familiarity with Apple Developer tools (Xcode, provisioning profiles, code signing) and Google Play Store pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization/orchestration systems.
• Strong scripting in Bash, Python, or similar.
• Understanding of mobile-specific security practices (certificate management, secure storage).
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.
• Experience in Agile or cross-functional teams with a product-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for mobile app development (iOS and Android).
• Automate build, test, and deployment workflows across environments.
• Manage cloud infrastructure to support mobile backend services and tooling.
• Collaborate with mobile developers to ensure efficient release cycles and fast feedback loops.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of mobile-specific infrastructure and build systems.
• Integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting for mobile services and CI/CD systems.
• Enforce mobile app security best practices including certificate management and signing processes.
• Support IaC practices using Terraform.
• Continuously evaluate and implement emerging DevOps tools and practices to improve workflows.
