Job summary

Bethel School District is seeking a part-time Technology Support Technician to assist in the library media center. The role provides mobile device support, helps manage inventory, and supports staff and students with hardware, software, and AV equipment during school hours.

Responsibilities include assisting the librarian, coordinating with technicians for tier 2+ support, and maintaining device records. Requires experience with school settings and basic asset management knowledge.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience working with school age children or in a library or office setting.
• Technology or asset management training or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mobile device technical support to students, staff and volunteers; troubleshoot and resolve issues; escalate complex problems to higher-level technicians as needed.
• Maintain and verify inventory and service records for mobile devices; input data into asset management systems; conduct annual inventory counts.
• Diagnose and resolve problems for mobile device software and hardware; run diagnostic programs and perform repairs within scope of the role.
• Provide tier 1 hardware and software support to administrative and instructional staff; assist with system use questions and solutions.
